The Circuit Module A4300A is the combined audio and squelch assembly for the VRC-12 series vehicular radio sets. It controls the AF amplification for speaker output as well as the receiver squelch logic.

Replacing the A4300A commonly resolves issues such as total loss of audio, distorted playback, or a malfunctioning squelch (squelch stays open or remains permanently muted).
